'Two Ways'- Hate and Anger' takes over decision making -

Two Ways of Resolving a Dispute

Moses was faithful to God's calling not only to deliver Israel but also to prepare the way for the Messiah ("bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future)
Anyone understands God's real purpose in the Law as revealed in the Old Testament has a real treasure. The Old Testament points the way to Jesus, the Messiah.
There is a double benefit to those who understand Jesus' teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven, which was revealed by Jesus as the new treasure: Both the Old and New teaching give practical guidelines for FAITH and for LIVING in this world.

St Matthew 13:52
The Religious Leaders were trapped in the old and blind to the new, what Jesus taught that the Kingdom was now and the judgement was future. The religious leaders were looking for a physical and temporal kingdom (via. military rebellion and physical rule)

In Jesus' home town people refused to believe in his message. They were blind to the spiritual significance of the Kingdom that Christ is talking about ! One who challenged them to respond to unpopular spiritual truth. They did not listen to the timeless message because they could not see beyond the man ! They were too close to the situation.....

Hebrews 3:5

Moses was the greatest prophet in the Scriptures. He was the prophet through whom God had given the Law, but to establish these covenants no 'Court of Law' could do it against people. As Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt bondage, so Christ leads us out of sin's slavery. For Christians, the highest human authorities were God's apostles: Jesus; God's apostle and High Priest, is the ultimate authority in the Church.

If we include the Old Testament in our regular Bible reading, the New Testament will grow clearer and more meaningful to us !
