\\o// Mediation Through SAINTS..... {Biblical Explanation- Parumala Perunal'18}

JESUS CHRIST is the great high priest who has ascended into heaven, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess - [St Paul - Hebrews 4:14]

Christ is superior to the priests, and his priesthood is superior to the Jew's high priest. But, he
alone can enter the Holy of Hollies once a year to make atonement for the sins of the whole nation (Leviticus 16). Like the high priest, Jesus mediates between God and us.

As humanity's representative, he intercedes for us before God. As God's representative, he assures us of God's forgiveness. Unlike the high priest who could go before God only once a year, Christ is always at God's right hand, interceding for us. He always available to hear us when we pray.

At the time of Old Testament, God chose Aaron, and only his descendants could be high priests   - Christ, like Aaron, was chosen and called by God. (ref. Psalms 2:7 and 110:4)
[ For Christ's divine appointment- Hebrews 5:4-6]

Jesus is like us because he experienced a full range of temptations through out his life as human being. We can be comforted knowing that Jesus faced temptation without giving in to sin. He can sympathise with us when we facing the seductive lure of temptation.

PRAYER is our approach to God, and we are to come "with confidence"in front of Him -
Come with reverence and bold assurance he is our Friend and Counsellor.
Ask God courageously to meet our needs, to fulfil the assignments entrusted each one of us +

May the Lord, God Almighty lead us and show the way, the truth and life - Amen
